April Bishop is a senior director of food safety with TreeHouse Foods where she leads a team of food safety professionals to support 40+ plants, including food safety training, food safety plans, food defense plans, sanitation, pest control, microbiology, allergen control, and all other things food safety related. Bishop led the TreeHouse team to win the 2017 Food Quality & Safety magazine’s Food Quality & Safety Award recognizing that TreeHouse Foods employs high product standards and expectations, demonstrates excellence across all categories in its submission, and has a commitment to investing in technology, improving employee training, HACCP implementation and utilizing audits.

Bishop has more than 20 years of experience in the food industry and is a 12-year member of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), founding the Nebraska chapter with several co-workers in 2009. She is an active member of 6 IAFP Professional Development Groups, the Alliance for Listeriosis Prevention, the National Pasta Association, American Peanut Council, and the Food Defense Consortium.

Jennifer McEntire, Ph.D.

Jennifer McEntire, Ph.D., is vice president of food safety at United Fresh Produce Association. A food microbiologist by background, she has always worked in the Washington, D.C. area, bringing the scientific perspective to food safety regulatory issues. She was previously vice president of science operations at the Grocery Manufacturers Association. She has also had roles as VP and chief science officer at The Acheson Group and as the senior staff scientist and director of science & technology projects at the Institute of Food Technologists. McEntire earned a Ph.D. from Rutgers University as a USDA National Needs Fellow in Food Safety and received a Bachelor of Science with Distinction, magna cum laude, in food science from the University of Delaware. She serves as an advisory board member of the Global Food Traceability Center, on the technical committee of the Center for Produce Safety, and is on the executive committee of the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance.

After Azzule, Regusci became an owner at WQS, a certification body that does thousands of audits annually across the Western Hemisphere. He now works as Chief Relationship Officer at RizePoint with a primary focus on finding the right quality management system solutions for quality, safety, and compliance professionals. Additionally, as a father of seven kids, Regusci understands the value of safe quality food and has made it his life’s mission to provide compliance transparency within the world’s supply chain.

Katie Moore

Katie Moore is the Senior Director of Sales at Sterilex, where she leads a team of food safety and animal health professionals that work to solve complex sanitation challenges globally. Katie’s interest in a safe food supply can be traced back to her early years spent working with dairy cattle, and her family’s milk hauling business. She has spent the last decade working in the animal feed and food safety space, spending the last 7 years supporting Sterilex customers in all facets of the food industry. In that time, Katie has consulted with hundreds of food processing facilities looking to implement Sterilex products as part of best in class food safety programs. Katie has a degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University as well as an MBA.
